What are Restylane injections?

This filler is a hyaluronic acid, which is intended to "fill in" facial lines and wrinkles, providing fullness and support. Through tiny injections, Dr. Coverman often targets the following areas:

Forehead creases
Crow's feet (wrinkles around the eyes)
Nasolabial folds (lines around the mouth)

Depending on your particular needs, Dr. Coverman may recommend another type of facial injectable, such as Botox ®. These injectables may be performed together to attain optimal results, depending on the patient's goals and condition. Laser resurfacing, such as Fraxel re:store ™, may be suggested as well.

Restylane treatment results are noticeable soon thereafter your procedure and typically last from four to six months; however, periodic repeat injections will be necessary if you would like to maintain a refreshed appearance. Restylane can also be effective when used for improving scarring.
